Roaring in pain from the Penguin of the Two Swords’ attack, the Demon let go of the ghostly staff and the Penguin Vizier thrust it to the creature’s chest. Crackling tongues of energy rushed out and danced across the Demon’s body, enhanced by the power the staff had absorbed from destroying the orb.
